Delivery, Shipping, Refunds/Exchanges

Shipping

Your shipping costs are always shown before payment at the 'checkout stage'.

(If you live in the North of Scotland, Highland & Islands, Northern Ireland, Eire, The Isle of Man or the Channel Islands then please contact us for specific shipping rates.)

Charges are normally calculated on the weight and/or value of the total items to be shipped.

Depending upon the overall order value there may be no shipping charges. If so the shipping costs will be shown as £0.00.

We have minimised all postage and packing costs and have secured the fastest delivery method at the cheapest price  This results in getting the products as quickly as possible for the least cost.

We will be pleased to accept small value orders.  However, they do incur a disproportionate handling, packing and postage cost and commercially we do need to recover that cost.  If you have a large value order then please contact us to discuss the most cost effective handling and shipping charges.


Despatch and Delivery

Orders are normally despatched between Monday and Friday (excluding UK Public Bank holidays).

We will normally provide a tracking reference.   Please allow 7 days before contacting us about non-delivery. If you are not able to take delivery then the shipper should leave a card advising delivery has been attempted.

How quickly can you get my order to me?

We like to get your order dispatched as quickly as possible. Our cut-off time for picking, packing and shipping is typically 12 noon. 

Delivery terms apply and if you want large quantities (say, more than 30 items of any one product or for orders greater than £2,000) or require something urgently then please contact us by phone or via info@12vgardenlights.com to discuss a more cost effective pricing, to check on delivery etc.

Returns Policy and Procedure

Policy

We have confidence that you will be pleased with your purchase and we want you to be happy with your purchase. Our 12v range is designed and made to the highest quality. However, if you're not happy please follow the procedure below and we'll exchange or refund it to the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order.

If you are unsure about a product we would recommend purchasing one unit to ensure you are satisfied with the quality and style.

Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as you are buying online (or by phone with one of the customer service staff), your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt.

Should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in a fully resalable condition and returned to us within 28 days from the date you received the items.

For the product to be resalable the packing should be in original condition and undamaged.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in a fully resalable condition and/or a reasonable time, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or make a suitable deduction of the original selling price from the refund amount.

The cost of all returns will need to be covered by yourself.

Please Note: All deliveries should be inspected and damages reported to us within four days of receipt. This enables us to, if necessary, notify the relevant delivery organisations for claims of damaged items received.

Procedure

ALL returns need to be authorised beforehand so that we can understand the reasons for the return and what your expectations are.  We will allocate you a 'Return Item Number' that will need to be sent with your returned item(s).


To obtain a 'Return Item Number' please send an email to info@12vgardenlights.com and include the order number, stock number, the reason for the return and whether you want a refund or a replacement.

We will email you back with instructions for returning the products.

Please note: We will only refund the original price paid for the item to the original purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us.

All returns without a Return Item Number won't be able to be tracked so ensure you obtain a number beforehand and enclose it with the item.
